"China's plan has strategic vision"

The theme of the G20 Bali Summit is "common recovery and strong recovery". How can the G20 align the course for global economic governance and promote sustainable recovery of the world economy? China's wisdom and China's plan have attracted much attention.

From the first comprehensive exposition of China's view of global economic governance during the Hangzhou Summit to the promotion of the G20 to continue to give priority to development in macroeconomic policy coordination at the Osaka Summit; From promoting digital economy related content to be included in the leaders' declaration for the first time at the Riyadh Summit to solemnly proposing the "Global Vaccine Cooperation Action Initiative" at the Rome Summit... China advocates an equal, open, cooperative and shared view of global economic governance, which not only conforms to the international trend, but also takes into account the concerns of all parties, and has won wide resonance and universal praise from the international community.

"China has actively participated in the reform and construction of the global governance system, maintained multilateralism, and promoted the construction of a new type of international relations. At the Hangzhou Summit, China promoted the formulation of the G20 Digital Economy Development and Cooperation Initiative. Digital economy has become a key topic and an important field of global economic and trade cooperation.

In the context of the COVID-19, the digital economy shows strong development resilience: new technologies, new formats and new platforms such as 5G, artificial intelligence and smart cities are booming, and the "non-contact economy" such as online shopping, online education and telemedicine has been comprehensively accelerated.

We worked with African countries to formulate and implement the "China Africa Digital Innovation Partnership Plan", held the China Latin American and Caribbean Science and Technology Innovation Forum, and worked with Gulf countries to build smart cities and develop artificial intelligence. China has strengthened digital economic cooperation with other countries, making important contributions to promoting economic and social development of relevant countries and global digital governance.

China advocates sharing the responsibilities of the digital age and creating an open, fair, just and non discriminatory digital development environment.

In August this year, the Working Group on China's accession to the Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA) was officially established, marking a new step in China's international cooperation in the digital economy. Claudia Wilnotti, the head of the Central European Digital Association in Belgium, commented that China's action will create an open and non discriminatory environment for the development of the digital economy and make greater contributions to improving global digital governance.

China has successively signed the China Arab Data Security Cooperation Initiative and the "China+Five Central Asian Countries" Data Security Cooperation Initiative with the League of Arab States and five Central Asian countries. The Global Data Security Initiative proposed by China is injecting the wisdom and strength of developing countries into global digital governance.

Mona Farid, professor of the School of Economics and Politics of Cairo University, Egypt, said: "China has proposed to actively create an open, fair, just and non discriminatory digital development environment, which has promoted the sustainable development of the digital economy."

"Provide a strong driving force for global economic and trade development"

At present, the instability and uncertainty of the world economic development are increasingly prominent. How to maintain and ensure the safety and stability of the industrial chain supply chain has become a common concern of the international community.

Leaders and ministerial level officials of 15 countries attended the meeting via video, and 29 envoys to China, 4 international organizations and representatives of many multinational enterprises participated offline.

During the forum, China, together with the G20 rotating presidency Indonesia, Chile, Cuba, Pakistan and Serbia, jointly launched the International Cooperation Initiative on the Resilience and Stability of the Industrial Chain Supply Chain, calling on all countries in the world to work together to build a more equitable, inclusive and constructive industrial chain supply chain partnership and build a better and prosperous world.

Comprehensively and deeply participate in the reform negotiations of the World Trade Organization, promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, promote international macroeconomic policy coordination, and jointly cultivate new drivers of global development... China has demonstrated its role as a major country in maintaining and promoting economic globalization and actively building an open world economy.
