The total installed capacity of renewable energy power generation exceeded 1.1 billion kilowatts

Beijing, June 28 (Reporter Liao Ruiling) The reporter learned from the National Energy Administration: As of the end of May, my country's total installed capacity of renewable energy power generation reached 1.1 billion kilowatts, a year-on-year increase of 15.1%; among them, conventional hydropower 360 million kilowatts, pumped hydropower The installed capacity of wind power, photovoltaic power generation, biomass power generation and other new energy power generation exceeded 700 million kilowatts.

Data show that from January to May, the newly installed capacity of renewable energy power generation nationwide was 43.49 million kilowatts, accounting for 82.1% of the newly installed capacity of power generation nationwide, and has become the main body of newly installed capacity of power generation in my country. In terms of power generation, from January to May, the national renewable energy power generation reached 1.06 trillion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 16.8%, accounting for about 31.5% of the electricity consumption of the whole society.
